Aloha High School Welcomes Tina Bodner and Michael Suskin
Aloha High School’s band and choir director is Tina Bodner. Tina most recently taught at Kinnaman Elementary School. Tina earned her Bachelor of Arts from the Univ of Denver, majoring in Music Performance. She also received her teaching certificate from the Univ of Denver and earned her Masters Degree from the Univ of Colorado.
Tina has
taught in Castle Rock, CO and Englewood, CO
before moving to Oregon. She possesses the ability to play proficiently in all
woodwind, brass, string and percussion instruments and has extensive knowledge
in string and keyboard performance. Another interest and highly proficient
skill Tina possesses is her ability to integrate technology as a teaching tool
in music.
Michael Suskin, a 2001 Aloha graduate, will lead the marching band program. Michael majored in music at UO and currently works in IT for the UO campus in Portland. He also has strong experience in assisting marching bands, having helped at Aloha, Beaverton, Gresham and McKay.
